Hestia House is comprised of a warm and welcoming home, and a fun, energetic team of people who work together to help young people grow into resilient, independent adults.
At Hestia House we aim to create a warm, safe and loving atmosphere that makes the house feel like a home to the children who live here. Hestia house takes its name from the Goddess ‘Hestia’ who is Goddess of the hearth, home, and family. The goddess was known for creating unity in households, warmth, and providing hospitality and sanctuary for those in need. Hestia house aims to be a reflection of its namesake encouraging trusting positive relationships, cohesion, and a sense of family through patience, acceptance, and playfulness. Our young people are individuals and are valued as such, their opinions, choices, and thoughts matter to us and we work to try and build their self-confidence and resilience to help them to overcome and achieve.
